Copper Nail Head Rivets, 2 Sizes~  They look like little nails but instead of a sharp point at the end, they have a flat or blunt point.  Use them to attach metal to metal.  They come in 1/4" or 1/2" size.  They are a bright copper metal finish.

Brass Escutcheon Pins~These are size #18 x 1/2" long escutcheon pins---escutcheon what???? Little brass nails.  On the sample shown below, I used these little nails to adhere cut up decorative tins to a piece of wood.  Simple and easy to use.  The tiny bright nail heads also add some nice detail to your work.  This was a piece I did in a class with Linda & Opie Obrien in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, spring, 2011.  I have admired their work for a long time and was fortunate to be able to attned a class.  They have several books out on working with metal.  My favorite named book is "Who's Your Dada".
So if you want to venture into the metal world, this is a fun and easy way to attach metal to wood or other substrates.  You can also use them for nailing small boxes, adhere hinges and latches too.
Pkg of 25 escutcheon pins (nails).
$0.59

~How to Rivet~
Basic tools needed- a punch or drill that can make a 1.6mm hole.  Your pieces for stacking and a steel block and ball peen or chasing hammer.
1.  Simply punch or drill a 1.6mm hole into our pieces, slide the rivet through both pieces.
2.  Cut the excess length off the rivet end to about 1/16.
3.  Lay your pieces on a hard surface, preferably a rubber block or steel bench block with the nail head facing down and the rivet end slightly protruding.
4.  Lightly tap, using a ball peen or chasing hammer, the rivet end so it spreads out over the hole opening.  Gradually increase the intensity of the hammer taps until both pieces are secure.

You can rivet varying sized holes as long as you have a washer or a flattened bead cap.

Use the 1/4" size for simple layered pieces and the 1/2" size for higher stacks/layers.

You can gain more info from You Tube.  It is a great source of instructional videos for learning new techniques.

ATTN:  MAC Users & Ipod Phone Users~
For some reason Mac/Ipods & Paypal do not work well together.  For some Mac & Ipod users, the Paypal cart will dump after several things are added to the cart.  I might suggest you write the item numbers down that come up when you "add to cart".  If it does dump, you can call -740-477-1238 or email your order c_byers1@msn.com.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  I have notified Paypal of this problem, but so far it has not been fixed.

PLEASE make sure your Paypal ADDRESS is CORRECT before placing your order.  Thanks!  It also helps to have a correct email address if I need to contact you re your order.  Thanks.

~International Customers~
When checking out with Paypal, please add your phone number.  The United States Postal Service is requiring that for all international shipments now.
Thanks
ANY large dollar order~~
The shipping on every order goes up with the total of the sale.  Many of the things are small so the larger shipping is not warranted, so then I refund the difference.
If you have a question on shipping please contact me at

This does not apply to the standard shipping charge-just the larger orders when the shipping charge is at higher cost.
