This microscope slide holder was covered with Graphics 45 paper, distressed with some of the new colors
of Tim Holtz Distress Inks and the Lily of the Valley brass charm was the perfect embellishment to complete it.

Slide Art Mailer~ Don't think you have to use this with your microscope slides--this is great as a little
book too. Closed this little mailer measures approx. 3" wide and 3 5/8" high. The dual slide openings are perfect
to fit your slides into, decorate as a little shrine, tiny beedz, embed objects and fill with crystal glaze...the possibilities
are unlimited. It is made of sturdy bookboard. Does not specifiy if it is archival safe but you can use an archival

This slide holder doesn't have any slides- the opening on the right has a little collage with paper and
the left side opening has a brass charm frame that is embedded into Ranger Sepia Accents.
It is stamped with 7 Gypsies Acrylic Stamps.

Slide Art Mailer-4 Slot~ These are just so pretty when they are all decorated up. I saw
one picture where they had used the scroll corners that we carry over the top-great way to use an embellishment in another
way. The mailer measures approx. 6 1/8" across the 4 slots. When folded closed, it measures approx. alomst 4 3/4"

You can use your imagination to come up with different things to put into your slide mailer. This
has 2 rummicubes adhered together on the back using the Terrifcally Tacky Tape. I then gessoed the front (it hides the
seam) and the painted using some acrylic ink and accented with some of the new Tim Holtz Distress ink colors.
So there is a total of 4 of the rummicubes, 2 on each side.
The clock stamp is also from the 7 Gypsies collection.
Slide Art Mailer Cover ~ Create an elegant holder with little effort. Adhere picture to front of mailer
with Crafters Ultimate or Incredibly Tacky glue, I applied an epoxy stickers and surrounded the perimeter of the holder with
copper foil tape. I used a Hot Marks tool to burn the design in the upper left corner. Simple, quick & easy
but what a great look!

You can easily de-construct the slide glass holder and use the holder part as an embellishment for books,
cards, scrapbooks, etc. This happens to be a coptic stitch book cover in progress that I am working on. I colored
it using the Distress Crackle Paints. The skull paper is from Stampin' Up. You can use the remaining part of the
holder as a little book, adding pages or split it in 2 and make an accordion book. Too much fun!
This slide cover was painted black with gesso, a Graphis 45 tag was adhered and a brass charm frame.
I printed the word "dream" out on the computer, covered it with mica and then adhered the ornate brass frame to it.
What a great way to add your own unique embellishment to a project.
