Embellishments in Metal II

Most of the items on this page can be used in a variety of ways. You can use them in jewelry making or as unique embellishments to your cards and other paper projects, dolls, altered books, scrapbooks, altered art, etc.

Metal Pen Nibs~ I don't know if they are vintage, but they look like it. The picture is just a representation of the nibs you will receive. They come in different styles and sizes so it is an assorted package of 3 nibs-2 may be long, 1 short,-etc and may be silver, coppery color or a bit rusty looking or all 3.

Silver Metal Dog Tag~This tag measuresa approx. 1 1/2" high and approx. 7/8" wide. The picture shows one side that is recessed so you could add a picture and some resin and the other side is completely smooth. You can stamp on it with Staz-on Ink and your favorite stamp; you can use metal stamps and stamp a word or name on it, add rhinestone bling, brass charms, paper, etc. Hang on ball chain, ribbon, safety pins, cording etc. Use as jewelry. Many possibilities. Pkg of 3 dog tags.

Exquisite Metal Watch Face~This is a beauty- a faux watch face in antique silver finish with metal detail surround the faux watch face covered with epoxy or resin with roses in the center of the watch. It has metal connectors on the top and bottom- cleverly disguised, so you can use it in your jewelry pieces as a focal point on a necklace and hang beads or charms or watch pieces from the bottom connector or just use as a very cool embellishment for a "special" project. It is flat back so you can easily adhere with your favorite Articus Studio adhesive. The back is finished nicely in a ray kind of design- just lines going out from the center like rays- so if you are using it as a focal piece on a necklace- the back is very nice also. It measures approx. 1 5/8" in diameter and the top and bottom connector add an additional 5/16" on each end. Sold per piece.

Metal Wings~These are just gorgeous wings. They have great detail on them. There are 2 matching sets of wings, the larger ones measure approx. 1 5/8" long and approx. 5/8" wide and the smaller set measures approx. 1 1/4" long and approx. 1/2" wide. They each have a ring at top which is not included in the measurement. The wings are antiqued with a bit of black to show off the design on the wings. Pkg of 4 wings (2 sets).

Tiny Brass Keychain~ This keychain is made of brass and comes in a brass ox finish. It measures 25 mm or approx. 1 1/6". Add to your books, cards, altered projects, dolls, etc. Although it is not the Tim Holtz brand, it is identical to what he uses in many of his projects. Pkg. of 3 keychains.

Bright Silver Angel Bead Frame~ Add your beautiful Swarovski crystals or other beads to create her little body, then add to your necklaces or jewelry or to your scrapbook pages, altered books, etc. Put her on one of our 6" hat pins for a cool look. She has a bright silver finish and measures approx. 1" high and approx. 7/8" at her widest across her wings. There is a hole at the top, bottom and center to run your head pin or hat pin through to connect. Pkg. 2.

Bright Silver Star Bead Frame~This star measures approx. almost 7/8" across. Use it in jewelry making, earrings, dangles from a bracelet or use it as an embelllishment in your altered art projects-maybe with an angel stamp. It does have a hole through the center so you can add an eye pin and even add beads to it. Very versatile.

Bright Silver Butterfly Bead Frame~This frame measures approx. 15/16" wide and approx. 3/4" high from the top of the wing to the bottom of the wings. It has a center hole at the top and bottom to ad your head pin or hat pin to complete the look of the butterfly. You can use tube beas, round beads, polymer clay beads, etc. to compliment the look of your butterfly. Pkg. 2.

Bright Silver Diamond Shaped Bead Frame~This frame measures approx. 1 1/16" high and approx. 3/4" at its widest across the center. It has a top, center and bottom hole to support the hat pin or head pin full of your favorite beads. Pkg. 2

Zip It-Zipper Pull Embellishment~You would be surprised at the tinkerings in my head! I fell in love with this the moment I saw it. How did I envision using it- why for a book closure, of course. I pictured a gate fold book- that is the kind that have the opening down the center of the book. Then, you adhere one on each side with the pull part facing the center, then you can add ball chain, ribbon, etc. to the pulls to close the book. They are black and made of metal and measure 1 1/2" from top to bottom. The hole opening on the pull is approx. 5/16" wide- so it is a generous size for your ribbons, leather, cording, ball chain, etc. Now, I also envisioned them at the bottom of a project with the pull part hanging down and you can add some other type of embellishment or charm to it. How about putting all 4 on a board or mat board- spaced to hang a photo or other memorabilia from it and use as home decor.....now I've got you thinking about the uses for this wonderful unusual embellishment. Cast Metal Silver Flower Charm/Connector~This embellishment measures approx. 5/8" from ring to ring. The petals of the flower are slightly raised to form the petals and has great detail on the petal with the little lines and the center is slightly rounded. The back of the charm is flat so you could cut the rings off and adhere to any flat surface or use as is in a bracelet, necklace or just as an embellishment to display and hang other charms from it. Diamond & Hearts Form~ This item can be used as a chandelier earring form or snip off the top ring and use as a cool embellishment. The diamond shape is inhanced with the 4 hearts in the center of the design. The back is flat so can easily be adhered using your favorite Articus Studio adhesive. Hang from a delicious fiber with the top ring. Many uses and possibilities. This piece measures approx. 1" high including the ring and approx. 5/8" at its widest. Pkg. 2

Decorative Square & Heart Form~ I am not particularly drawn to hear designs, but I enjoy this one because the heart is sort of hidden in the intricate center design. This piece meausres approx. 1" high including the ring and approx. 7/8" wide. Use it as is or snip the ring off and adhere to your project. Comes in a bright silver finish. Pkg. 2.

Silver Tone Made With Love Charm~This charm comes in a silvertone color with the words "Made with Love" stamped in it and colored in with black so they stick out. They are punched into the metal, not printed. This is a two-sided charm- the same front and back and is flat on both sides. It measures approx. 1/2" high including the ring at the top and approx, 3/8" at its widest. The hole at the top is generous so can be used with cording, ribbon, twine, waxed cord, etc. Pkg of 10 charms.

Bobby Pin with Pad~I thought this was pretty cool. You can add all sorts of things to the pad: glitter, beads, collage, decorative paper, charm, etc. I thnk it would be a cute book mark or just a fun embellishment on a card or book. How about attching a movie ticket or coupon to your scrapbook? The pad measures almost approx. 7/16" in diameter. Silver finish. Pkg. 3

Cast Copper Moon Face Charm~ This charm measures approx. 5/16", in diameter, relatively small. It has a ring at the top for use in your jewelery making, card and paper embellishments, etc. The ring hole is fairly generous so it will accept ribbon also. Very expressive face on it. Pkg. 4

Metal Label Holder, Silver Tone Finish~This label holder measures approx. 1 13/16" long and approx. 1/2" wide. The bottom side is beveled down and the top side is open for slipping in a label, picture, name, word, etc. The finish is a very pretty bright silver, almost brushed look. It is made of nickel metal. Use on your boxes, scrap books, altered art, and anything else your imagination can concoct. Pkg. 3 holders.

D-Frame Hanger, Copper Finish~This D-frame hanger measures approx. 1/2" x 7/8". I think they would make a good "bail" for a domino or other such item to hang as a necklace. Just glue the solid part to the back of your domino and then you have a nice ring to hang it from your chain, ribbon, cording, etc. You can also glue them on your cards, books or other projects and string items through them. Comes in a copper finish.

Silver Tone Metal Word Connectors~You get 5 pieces in this set. Each one has a word on it, they are: Create, Inspire, Commit, Believe and Grow. The words are set in black so they are very readable. Each charm has a pre-drilled hole on each side so that you can use them as connectors in your jewelry projects or hang as an embellishment from a card, book, etc. As an extra bonus, the other side also has the word in Asian. Follow Your Heart Silver Tone Charm~This charm measures approx. 3/4" high from top of ring to bottom of charm and measures approx. 1/2" across at its widest. This is a heavy charm- probably would not want to use it for earrings. It also get more chunky as you get closer to the bottom of the charm. It is double sided and has a lovely swirl at the top and has the words imbedded in it-Follow Your Heart. It is silver tone, not sure what the base metal is and the swirl and words are done in black. Would be great on a book mark or book thong, hanging from your art projects and even a bracelet or necklace. Pkg of 5 charms.

Fancy Metal 3 Loop Pin Embellishment~You could use this as jewelry but I like it as an embellishment for books, card, etc. Dangle your favorite little charm from it, beads, maybe a photo in the center. Slide through the paper, fabric, etc. The bottom bar has a design similar to a wood grain pattern on it. The top slide bar just sits in a rounded channel on the bottom bar for security when clasped. This piece measures approx. 1 7/8" wide and approx. 5/8" high at its higest point including the loop. Let your imagination roll with this one to see how you can use it. Pkg of 1.

Silver Tone Wings~These cast metal wings are a bright silver tone finish. They measure approx. 1 1/4" wide and approx. 1/2" at their highest (31x12mm). The center portion has a hole drilled through so you can add these to a hat pin, head pin, wire, etc. You can then add a body or head also to it. They are cat metal and have the same detail on the front and back. Pkg of 2 wings.

Gem Pin Findings~I like the elegant look of these- although the scan does not do them justice. The top of the pin looks like a little faceted diamond or rhinestone. They measures approx. 1 1/2" long. Add them to your cards, books, altered projects, silk flowers, ribbons, etc. to add a touch of class to any project. Pkg of 12 pins.

Zutter Hang-It-All Adornments~These are so cute -use them to connect panels, chipboard, wood, frames, etc. This is 2 sets- 4 pieces but use one piece for your top with the hook and then use the other piece on the bottom panel (it has the triangle bail). The square ornate part measures approx. 3/4" wide and approx. a little more than 1/2 high. The metal is embossed with pretty swirly design and looks like tiny flowers surrounding the center hole. It come with rivets for attaching-with a little diagram on the back on how to position things. They are very elegant looking. Comes in antique silver or antique gold/brass.
