Belle Armoire Jewelry Book/Zine, Mar/Apr/May 2010 Issue~ The last few issues have just been right up
my alley and this one, again, is a keeper for me. I love all the metal projects they have in here. The Front cover
boasts: Carla Reiter Defies Tradition; Red Hot Water Casting; Eco-Chic Green Bling and Marvelously Evocative! Designer collection:
Stephanie Lee. As I flip through the book (I will savor it in full later) one of the most eye-cathing projects
is a wonderful necklace incorporating postage stamps, fabric, paper and beads call Queen Bead. There is a project for
Artsy cuffs; pendants from another dimension and did I mention the jewelry is stunning from Stephanie Lee! It has a
project using felting and beads, wire work, metal and the water casting is quite intriquing.
Regular retail is $14.99 but Articus price
$10.99
Belle Armoire Jewelry Book/Zine, Winter 2010~This continues to be one of my favorite magazines.
I have found this issue to be especially exciting. Some of the articles include: A New Take on Frozen Charlottes; Totally
Hot Tattered Rings; Work it With Wax; The Master of Metal- Richard Salley (love his stuff!); An expoloration into sheet metal
& resin; Wax & wear brooch; an inspired ID-ea and more. It also contains, as usual, basics for working with
wire, polymer clay, soldering and beading.
$10.99
My own take on the cover art of Winter, 2010 Jewelry Book/Zine. I used half round wire, a page from an old Bible,
backed it with grunger paper for stability and added curled wire and Sepia Glossy Accents resin.
Belle Armoire Jewelry Magazine, Sept., Oct., Nov 2009~Isn't that a pretty
cover! This issue cover boasts topics as "oh so romantic! Amy Hanna Collection; Charming Exchange- creating jewelry;
Kristen Robinson's Heartfelt Jewelry; Fragments: a mixed media approach to beading and Learn all about the new Bronzclay.
If you like jewelry making, then this is the magazine for you. Some issues I like better than others, but this one is
very inspiring. Regular retaIL price is $14.99.
$10.00
I made a little mistake when I was scanning the Mar/Apr/May 2010 issue of Jewelry Magazine. I had
previously scanned the gold charm with "Dream" in the center but forgot to remove it from the scanner- so when I scanned the
magazine, it picked it up again too. But I thought it looked darling on the design- so just as more creative juice for
you, I am enclosing the scan of both items combined.
