This lily of the valley charm was the perfect touch to this microscope slide mailer cover. It is covered
with Graphics 45 paper, the center part is raised on some glue mounts and distressed with some of the new Tim Holtz Distress
ink colors. The lily of the valley was adhered using Ranger Accents.
I love the ornamental designs you can get in brass charms.
The metals prices on the stock exchange have been going up all year and I am told there will be another
increase in charm prices at the beginning of 2007. Even still, I think charms are a great value for their cost.
You could go hog wild with some charms fetching over $100 for a gross-and they are incredibly beautiful but we aren't
that extravagant here - yet, ha ha!
Ornate Swirly Enhancer Brass Charm~This and the style below are my new favorite charms. What fun
you can have with this charm. You can add it to a project with a brad, or use the holes to add some rhinestone bling,
use it in conjunction with a silk flower, turn it so the ring is at the bottom and kind of looks like a tree or pretty fern,
turn it on its side with the ring facing to the left and reminds me of a peacock plume-this thing really speaks to me!
What does it say to you? It measures approx. almost 1 1/4" from top to bottom and approx. almost 7/8" at its widest.

Ornate Double Flower Brass Charm~This is a very versatile charm. Use as is, maybe with a brad

Tiny Art Deco Triangle Drop Brass Charm~There is just something about triangles that you have to love.
Even though this is small- measuring approx. 1/2" high including the ring and approx. 5/16" at its widest-it has a lot of
"wow" to it. Comprised of 3 triangles, small at top, large and triangle cut out, it could be used also as an arrow-
with tip pointing to a word, face or object on your project. Use as a dangle on jewelry or from books, safety pins,
Tim Holtz trinket pins, etc. Use it in conjunction with other brass charms-possibly on the brass blanks. The small
triangle on the top is smooth and the larger triangle has a textured cross hatch pattern on it. It is just very eye-catching.

Ornate 3 Loop Charm~I just love when you get something and it is so much better than what you expected.
This is what I thought when these arrived. They just look like fun. I have added a picture of them verical and
also horizontal because I think your mind will see different uses depending on how it is placed. It measures approx.
3/4" high and approx. 1/2" wide. Each loop has some raised design on it but especially the middle loop. You could
weave ribbon, cording, etc. through the loops, use jump rings to hang some additional charms or other things as it is placed
horizontally, if you have a stamp or design large enough, use it placed horizontally as a design element-like on a woman's
dress or clothing, just add it underneath a word or phrase to bring additional attention to that---you are only limited by
your imagination and remember--imagination is like a muscle on your body- it gets better the more you use and apply it...so
no muttering under your breath that you don't have imagination!

I took a domino class from Denise Landa at the Cincinnati, Ohio stamp store, Stamp Your Art Out. We did a domino
with alcohol inks and sprayed with silver webbing spray by Krylon. I liked it but it needed something so I just Weldbonded
that lovely All in One charm to the domino and now I just love it!
Fancy Brass Ornamental Decoration~ I love this one. It is so ornate and looks so elegant. It
will be a great embellishment on cards, scrapbooks, altered books, etc. but also on boxes, close to the bottom or on
the corners. You can adhere with your favorite adhesive or Crafters Pick Ultimate, Wedlbond or Incredibly Tacky.

Ornate Brass Medallion~ I hesitate to call this medallion by a name such as "Old World" or any other
descriptive phrase because I didn't want to pigeon-hole it into one category. I see many different influences when I
look at it so I think it would work well for many projects. It measures approx. 7/8" in dimater and is slightly domed.
Use your favorite adhesvie for this one. Would look great on boxes as a border. Pkg 6.

Ornate Brass Floral Embellisment in Antique Silver Finish~ This charm is a beauty in its own right.
I appreciate the simpler flower design. Although similar to the one above, it is smaller and has less dimension.
It measures approx. 1 1/8" across and approx. 5/8" high. It also does not have a hole so you will need to rely on your
favorite adhesive. I typically take a tooth pick to apply adhesive to the back of the charms- much less messy.

This was a canvas ornament picked up at a post Christmas sale. It was covered with Studio brand Gesso
(from Claudine Hellmuth) and painted, stamped and the floral brass charm added for accent.

Brass Ornamental TearDrop Style Charm~ This charm measures approx. 1 1/4" high and approx. 11/16" at
its widest part. It has a ring for adhering with small brads, ribbons, etc. The design has swirls on the side
and is raised with small beads adorning each side. It looks really cool to put three together in a design like one in
center with ring down and then the other two flanking it and those rings meet in the center. It would be a great way

Fancy Brass Connector Charm~ This charm measures approx. almost 15/16" high from top of ring to bottom
of ring and approx. 3/4" in diameter. There is quite a lot of design and detail to this charm. It is just gorgeous
when you add a Swarovski crystal to the center as shown in the sample on the right. Besides being a classy addition
to your cards, scrapbooks, journals and other projects, they would look great hanging from your rear view mirror or made into
a small wind chime kind of look. If you aren't into Swarovski crystals, try rhinestones, pretty semi-precious stones

Brass Dog Tag Charm~This tag measures approx. 1" from top to bottom and approx. 1/2" wide. It
has a pre-drilled hole at the top so you can easily add to your projects. You can also adhere it to a project with your
favorite Articus Studio glue. You could also engrave this tag, the engravable area is about 3/4" long - inside

Brass Ornate Floral Charm~ This one is a little different from the regular brass color, it has
a reddish tint to it- very pretty and different. I think this will be a wonderful accent to a picture or stamped image.

Stunning Brass Leaf Connector~ I think this is a very versatile charm. You could use alone to
add accent to a particular item, you could use as a connector for jewlery between beads, you could use with your favorite
ribbon or fancy fibers and dangle from a book or other project. You could also use it by running your favorite ribbon
or fiber thru one end, acrross the back and out on the other end of the charm. It is rounded a bit so if you wanted
to use with glue to adhere it, you would need to gently flatten it. It measures approx. 3/4" wide and approx. 3/8" wide.
The fancy leaf design makes this a timeless and classy piece. Pkg. 3

Brass Fleur De Lis Sceptre~This scan kind of chopped this up- it really is straight. I see this
charm as a wonderful accent added to a stamp with sayings on it, a sentiment type stamp and have this adhered off to the side
just to bring more presence to your word stamp or stamped image. You could also add it to a picture-maybe someone with
their hand extended and would look like a sceptre in their hand. I think I have that spelled right- drawing a blank
on it. It is raised on the front but the back is flat so you can easily adhere it with glue. Would also be great
on the fron of a book or scrapbook. It measures approx. 1 3/8" high and approx. 3/8" wide. (I have a cool Alice

Fancy Brass Swirl~ Who doesn't love fancy swirls, we doodle them every which way we can. This
fancy swirl has ridges for added texture and depth. I think it would look nice to take Aleene's Paper Glaze, put a little
on some foil and add a drop of your favorite color of dye ink refill to it, mix together and brush into the swirl grooves
for a cloisonne kind of look. The color possibilities are endless with so many different dye inks to coordinate to your
project. It has a ring on the top and bottom so you can also use as a connector, or clip the rings to use without.
It lies flat so will adhere with your favorite Articus Studio adhesive. It measures approx. 1 1/16" from top to bottom

Here is a picture of how you can change the look of your charms using the faux enamel technique. Just
take a dime size or smaller dab of Aleene's Paper Glaze and mix with your favorite color of dye ink and paint that onto the
charm. I have one charm that I left as is after I applied the glaze and the other I used my finger and removed the extra
glaze revealing the lines in this charm. Adds a lot of verstility to the charms.
Flowers in Her Hair Brass Charm~I was trying to think of a name for this charm and that old song came
into my head, I think it is called the Flower Girl Song, it goes something like "flowers in her hair, flowers everywhere,
I love the flower girl". This brass charm meaures approx. 1" in diameter and comes with a ring at top, which is easily
removable with a snip of the wire cutters. She can make a nice mold too as the back is hollow. She will definitely

Large Fleur-de-Lis Brass Charm~This is just beautiful! It was also a happy mistake, I ordered
the wrong number from the manufacturer. Guess it was meant to be. I just recently saw a stamp from my favorite
company, Stampers Anonymous, and it was a beautiful script and then on the top was a fleur-de-lis. So that is one way
I will recommend it to you- stamp one of your beautiful script stamps and then adhere this charm in the center- simple and

Ornate Brass Dragonly Disc Charm~This charm is slightly dapped meaning it is rounded on the top and
concave underneath. A big glob of glue in the center will hold it nicely in place though. It measures almost 1
1/8" in diameter. The dragnofly is prominently raised and the reeds and water are raised but less prominent. Great

This teeny tiny fleur de lis is great for your atc's or other smaller projects.
Brass Sun Face Charm~This stunning charm measures approx. 1 1/4" in diameter. It has the beautiful
rays of the sun jutting out from its pretty sun face. It has a hole stamped in the top ray so that you can adhere with
ribbons, string, etc. The scan blurs the rays because it picks up what is closest to the scanner glass and kind of blurs
things farther away. So it is hard to see from the scan that the rays have a raised center line and both sides descend
from that and the face protrudes from the rays and is hollow in the back of the charm. (I have my computer monitor on
a raised metal platform and was thinking that this charm would really dress that up-so don't think of them just for

Femme & Floral Brass Charm~This beautiful brass charm has a pretty flower at the top and a beautiful
face at the bottom with her hair flowing up the charm towards the flower-gorgeous! It comes with a ring at the top also.

Ornate All-in-One Triangle~This is similar to the All In One charm above. I think this charm can be used in so
many applications. First, it is just pretty, so much detail going on and the 4 larger circle parts protrude out from
the charm by approx. 1/8"- so a lot of dimension. It has a ring at the top, which you can use or snip off with your
Tim Holtz Scissors that go from paper, metal, wood, etc. You could add it to a project with the side openings by adding

Ornate Floral Art Deco Drop~This is not a big charm but it adds a lot of presence to a piece. It has a trumpet
flower like shape to the whole piece, like a slim bell. It has a pretty little flower in the center and there is another

Brass Filigree Ornamental Accent Charm~This charm is pretty on a couple different levels- the filigree

Brass Shell Charm~This reminds me of a shell and has wonderful subtle detail throughout the swirls but
