7 Gypsies Clear Stamps-Ephemera~This is a set of 16 stamps depicting different types of cool ephemera like a coupon, bar code scan, Chile travel card, British Airways ticket, LAX, Frankfort-ticket, I think, grand stand ticket, plumbers ruler, ID check, London transport country bus ticket, Paris ticket and several more.  The clear stamps from 7 Gypsies stamp very well and I have always been pleased with how they perform.
$11.89

7 Gypsies Display Trim-Surveyor Rulers~These are replicas of the old time wooden rulers.  This one happens to be one surveyors would have used.  they measure 6" long and approx. a little more than 1/2" wide.  Now you don't have to scour antique malls anymore-just use these in whole or cut in parts.  I think they would be great to use when binding books.  Use pieces cut to fit print letter boxes or other types of display boxes, shadow box frames, use them to trim frames, scrapbooks, wood cubes, jewelry- imagination is a wonderful thing.
There are 4 rulers in each pack.

7 Gypsies Display Trim-School Rulers~You get a package of 4 rulers measuring 6" long and a little over 1/2" wide.  I think the picture shows it a little lighter than it truly is- so go a little darker in your mind- not much though.  Great for all kinds of projects.
$4.89

2book2use.jpg

This is a sample of a book where a different kind of ruler was used.  I turned it over to the blank side and added brads to it.

7 Gypsies Watch Face Steampunk Design-Time Flies~These just call out to my taste in jewelry and embellishments.  You get 2 bold pieces in a steam punk design.  The top one is similar to a watch face in a flat silver tone and brass wings and measures approx. 3" across and approx. 1 1/8" high.  It has a jump ring at the top and bottom so you can attach to a necklace and add a bead or charm to the bottom.  Great for a gift- add some chain, ribbon, cording, etc. and you have a wonderful piece of jewelry for yourself or your BFF.
The bottom one has a round watch face and bolder wings.  The measurement is the same as the one above it.

7 Gypsies Clear Stamps- Paddington Steampunk~ I like it, you may get tired of reading it but I think all the steampunk stuff is very cool.  This set of clear acrylic stamps is, in my opinion, a little different flavor than many of the sets on the market.  A great eclectic mix of hot air balloon, eye chart, key, butterfly, gear, rulers, ink blots, finget print, pointing hands, flat hand (talk to the hand), do not disturb and  more.  There are a total of 24 stamps.  As a frame of reference the eye chart stamp measures approx. 1 5/8" wide and 2 3/8" high.

7 Gypsies Clear Acrylic Stamp Set-Venice~This is my first set I have bought from 7 Gypsies and I kept 1 for Articus Studio use and it is just grand!  I really llike all the designs- I used the clock face over the little tower right next to it and looked very neat.  When I opened the package the stamps are sandwiched between the transparency that has the image and a blank one and I had a heck of a time removing them from the transparency sheet- but once I did- the cling was really good.  When I touched them to the stamp it seemed like the ink just jumped to be on it, ha ha.  They stamped really well, images clear, etc.  Nothing bad to report about them.
This set has a total of 14 stamps on it.  They combine well for collage.  I used them on old pattern paper (the kind you would make clothes with) and it did very well.  I then adhered them onto a thrift store tin with Claudine Hellmuth matte medium.  They looked pretty good but  I was getting all artsy and thought I would use some walnut ink spray- even though I held it far away it came out pretty heavy and dark so what was to look old and tasteful turned out old and crappy, ha ha.

7 Gypsies Rubbings-Pretoria Elements~Great way to customize your paper, books, scrapbooks, etc. with rubbings.  Simply cut out the shape you want and use the popsicle stick provided to rub it on the surface you want to cover.  Quick, simple and easy with a great result.  These are black and there are approx. 23 rubbings on this sheet in flourishes, numbers, shapes and borders.  They have a bit of a distressed look to them.  If the rubbings fit the desired medium- you can use them on plain buttons, metal, glass, tins and more.

scrollsuse.jpg

Check out further down the page- a great way to use the versatile 7 Gypsy rubons.....wood bangle bracelet.

7 Gypsies Texture Rubbing-Scrolls~These texture scrolls are mostly pretty large-approx. 5 1/2" high which makes them great for scrapbook pages, books and most any other large project.  The sheet has some smaller ones on it also and has approx. 6 large scrolls and 4 smaller scrolly flourishes.  These come pink in color- not like the black shown but then you add your own magic to them as they are sticky and you can use with glue or my particular favorite-foils.

7 Gypsies Fabric Words-Double Talk~These are now out of stock but you can make your own, color with your distress inks and stamp your own image, phrare or word on them with the other fabric set below.

fab7gypuse.jpg

7 Gypsies Fabric Labels~These labels have a decorative border around them in combination colors like periwikle blue & pink, lime green & pink, light blue & pink and yellow & pink.  They also have some in solid borders of the yellow, green, light blue and periwinkle blue.  The inside of the labels are blank so you can add your own touch to them.  You get a total of 31 lables in assorted sizes and shapes, rectangles, ovals, square and ticket shape.  The whole sheet measures approx 12 1/2" high and approx. 6 3/8" wide- lots of room for words, small stamp, brass charm, etc.  Special Buy Price-Check out the other fabric labels shown several panes above in the browns.  It gives you an idea what look you can achieve with these by coloring with your new Tim Holtz distress ink pads and stamping your favorite word, phrase or image on them.

7gypprintertrayuse.jpg

7 Gypsies Printer Trays~ These are a really classy, elegant and vintage way to add a name to a project piece, tray, box, etc.  They come 4 pieces in a package.  There are 3 different colors to choose from- black, antique silver and antique brass.  So it is a package of 4 pieces in one color.  If you want assorted colors you have to purchase one of each color.  The trays measure approx.  2 1/8" wide and approx. 1/2" high.  The back is not flat- it has about a 1/4" of metal slat protruding from the back.  You can notch your wood and slide them in that way and I think you could bend them out and flatten them if you just wanted to glue them on.  You could also just slide them over a middle section of wood or chipboard boxes.  This is how it is shown on the mfg. sample picture.

7 Gypsies Steampunk Gears- Gems~ Love these!  I love gears, metal and all the cool steampunk stuff out.  These have a crystal placed in each one of the gears- typically in the center and 2 are positioned on the side hole.  Just picture them on a wonderful jewelry project, scrapbook, books, frames, man projects-well only if they like the bling too.  There are 9 gears in a package.  They range in size from 1 3/8" in diameter down to 15/16" in diameter.  All are ridged for more pizazz.  They definitely have a more polished or upscale look to them.  They come in assorted colors of black, antique brass and antique silver.
$5.79

22069indgearsuse.jpg

7 Gypsies Steampunk Gears-Industrial~ These are a much different look than the bling gears above.  They do have an industrial look to them.  There are 14 pieces in the package and they come in assorted colors of antique brass and antique silver.  They have some unique shapes I have not seen before.  Two styles kind of look like vintage eye glass holders like you would see in an eye doctor office-they have a little handle on them.  They range in size from 1/2" to almost 1 1/4" in diameter.  The industrial revolution is here again and I hope to stay, love this look.
$5.79

220737gypuse.jpg

7 Gypsies Charms- Nature~Just adorable- love the design.  These pieces are made with a brass blank and on one is the swoopy bird and a little rhinestone bling in amber color and another brid in flight attached at the bottom with a jump ring.  Both these designs have jump rings on the top - all ready to add to chain, ball chain, ribbon, cording, etc. for a cool piece of jewelry or an embellishment to a book or other project.  The second piece has a beautiful bee in a flat silver tone wth an amber colored rhinestone  and a neat arrow attached at the bottom.  These measure approx. 1 1'8" in diameter and approx 1 3/4" in height overall.  Pkg of 2 pieces, 1 of each design.

7 Gypsies Conservatory Clear Stamp Set~ I really like the whole conservatory line from 7 Gypsies.  For any bird lover- this set will make you "sing".  It comes with 24 stamps of assorted images of birds. bird cages, bird eggs, some postal stamp cancellations, several butterflies, some Fig signs- like Fig. 13- something you might see in an encyclopedia- well something used before the internet, or books on birds and things.  The 7 Gypsies clear stamps stamp very well.

7 Gypsies Lille Clear Stamp Set~This set has a total of 19 stamps in it including a pretty bird, music notes and big note, postage stamp, some possibly French printing, stars in various sizes, journal page and more.  As a frame of reference, the journal page measures approx. 1 3/4" wide and approx. 1 15/16" high.  Great eclectic collection- try saying that fast 10x in a row.
$11.89

lilleprinted_tape7gypuse.jpg

7 Gypsies Paper Tape, Lille Design~  I have to say, I like the paper tapes- easy to use, versatile.  Just snip off a portion to use horizontally or vertically on a card or book, color with distress inks, just a fun, great embellishment.  This comes with 3 rolls, each measuring  3/4" x 5 yards.
$7.95

20701avignonuse.jpg

Corrine's Wood Bangle with Rubons

This is a plain wood bangle that I painted with a base of Peerless brand silver glaze, then added some color with chalk inks and Tim Holtz Distress Inks.  I did not want the color to be dark becaise I wanted the rub-ons to be prominent.  I used some of the 7 Gypsies Rub-Ons from the "Time" pack.  It was not hard to do- even though you do have the rounding from the bangle.  After those were on, I sealed it with Claudine Helmuth Matte Medium and then added some flat back Swarovski crystals to highlight certain areas and be a eye-catcher.

This book is covered in Graphics 45 paper and also incorporates Ranger glossy Accents as highlights for the glasses at the top and another area on the book.  It is hard to tell from this picture but it also has 2 texture rubbings on it that have been texturized with gold foil.  There is a fleur-de-lis at the bottom left and and the left side of the book on the black paper is a scroll.  They aren't very bold, even as you hold the book, but I like subtle accents.

Below is a picture of a book I made incorporating the black gaffer tape.  It has a cool tag packaging along with it and I also incorporated the tag on the back of the book.  This is a piano hinge style book.

This is a formica sample from the hardware store.  Tim Holtz tissue tape was applied to the left side vertically and the chain and clock are 7 Gypsies rubons and a square of Graphics 45 paper and ornate brass charm.  Add a keychain to it and you have a great piece to take with you wherever you go and to remind you to create.

If you are ordering multiple books or kits (typically 3 or more-depending on other items purchased- they may require an additional shipping charge to mail in the flat rate box. (9-18-07)

I love blank books.  They can be so useful.  One of the ways I like to use them is for keeping notes from a class or classes I have taken.  Teachers often give you useful little tips in class.  They are especially useful to make notes if the class does not have a printed handout to refer to when you want to make the project again.  Since I like to bead and there are so many types of beads out there, I decorated a similar type book to the large blank book shown below with beads on the outside and on the inside I made notes on different kinds of seads beads, size information, wire guages and so on.  I also keep a little book handy in my purse when I think I might be going book shopping so that I don't duplicate one of my craft books at home.    If you have a lot of different Pearl X colors or somethnig like sparkling H2O's, you can make a list of the colors so they are not duplicated.   Use it to keep a list of ink pads and their refills, alcohol inks, etc.  This is invaluable info when you attend a convention!  these blank books have a nice sturdy book board cover to them so you could make a mini scrapbook or brag book for all you moms and grandmothers out there that is easy to carry with you.
What will you use your blank book for?
