Brass Detailed 5 Petal Flower~Isn't it pretty!  I love the detail on this flower.  It measures approx. 15/16" across.  It has wonderful beading around the perimeter of the petals, embossed lines on the petals and the petals and center are slightly dapped or raised.  It's a winner!  You can color it using your alcohol inks, Copic Markers, Sharpie Markers.  Pkg of 4 flowers.
$0.89

Ornate Flower Charm~ This beautiful charm measures approx. 7/8" at its widest and approx. 1 1/8" high.  I love the swirls and curls and it will add a touch of elegance to any project.  This is not flat, it has a slight  curve or dome to it.  I think another great name for it would be Calligraphy flower.  Pkg 6.
$1.39

You would never guess but this is a metal washer, covered with beautiful Graphics 45 paper and Ranger Crackle Accent applied over it.  The center hole is covered with a plastic disc, covered in Graphics 45 paper and then the charm is added with Ranger Glossy Accent glaze.  If you don't seal your charms when you are using them with glazes, they may turn a bit of the glaze a greenish color.  You can see it in this picture, but I liked it.  I colored the perimeter of the washer with black Sharpie pen and put a bit of glaze around the perimeter too to seal the Sharpie.  I then added one of our tri-frame hangers to the back of the washer with Ranger Glossy Accents and then ran some silk cording through it along with a black glass bead.

Funky Flower Charm~ I love this charm because I think it is so versatile.  You can use as is by adhering with glue or it does have a hole to use a brad , wire, ribbon, etc.    I think it would be nice with a flat rhinestone glued to the center or apply some glaze to the center and fill it with those pretty no hole beads.  The picture on the right shows some of the versatility this charm has.  It does have a Swarovski flat back rhinestone in the center.  I have also colored it with Copic Markers and then added some Dimensional glaze to it.  it gives the effect of enameling.  Stickles glitter would also look great in the center.  You could even do a small picture in the center.  The inside center diameter measures approx. 5/8" and the whole flower measures approx. 1" in diameter.  The center also has a nice raised beaded area around the circumference of the center.  Pkg 6.

Using the funky flower charm above, I added a hint of color with an alcohol ink marker and then added a little Ranger glossy Accents to the center and sprinkled some Suzy Weinberg Beadazzles to the center.  You could easily substitute the pretty no hole beads or other items to the center of the flower to create your own one-of-a-kind embellishment to adorn your project.
All the charms are versatile and can create a unique look for your project.  Change the color and feel of your brass charms with alcohol inks- you can go bold or just add a hint of color.
Below is a fancy frame I added some Graphics 45 paper to the center, some Judikins Dimensional glaze and red and brown alcohol inks.  I call it faux Vintage!  The Vintage brand is on the market currently in 2010 and features brass charms that have a coppery patina added to them.  I like the look and although I did not set out to re-create that look, I stumbled on it by accident and was very pleased with the results.

Brass Flower Charm (Sceptor)~ This is another charm I think could be used in a number of ways.  When I first saw it, I saw a diva's scepter or a fairy wand.  When you put 4 together in a square shape, you have an elegant looking frame (3 is a cool triangle) . Put 2 end to end for a wonderful flourish or emphasis factor.   It measures approx. 1 3/8" high and approx. 3/16" at its widest.  Pkg. 6

Using the flower scepter to make a cute frame to enhance pictures, photos, etc.
Aren't charms just wonderful!

brleafuse.jpg

Brass Detailed Leaf Charm~ This charm is highly detailed with raised leaf veins and detail on the soft part of the leaf.  It has a hole at the top so you can adhere with brads, ribbon, etc. or just apply with your favorite adhesive like Crafter's Pick The Ultimate or Weldbond, to name a few.  The hole is perfect if you want to use them, in a jewelry application.  This charm measures approx. 1 1/8" at its widest and approx. 1 1/8" from top to bottom.  It is also slightly domed.  Add color using the Tim Holtz Alcohol inks for a unique look (see sample below).  Pkg. 8
$2.79

The above brass maple leaf charm was colorized using alcohol inks.  What a difference it makes- but beautiful either way.

flowersuse.jpg

Brass Pretty Flower w Ring~ I am not sure what kind of flower this is, it reminds me of a sunflower but I think it is a dogwood.  I even called the supplier to see if they had it named and they don't so it can be just a pretty flower.  This pretty flower measures approx. 15/16" acrross including ring and  approx. 3/4" without the ring.  It will look lovely with the little hummingbird that we also offer on this page.  Pkg. 6
$.79

leaf1use.jpg

Brass Double Leaf Charm~ This will really jazz up your floral cards.  Add this brass charm with adhesive or with a brad, hide it under a small stick stem....so many things to do with it.  This charm measures approx. 1 5/8" at its widest and aprox. 1" high.  It also has a raised design for the pattern in the leaf and  has serrated edges on the leaves--very detailed.  Pkg. of 6
$1.49

leaf5use.jpg

Brass Small Raised Leaf~This leaf was a surprise in my order- if you don't get the exact number correct for charm re-orders, you get a little surprise item.  It is very pretty though.  The leaf design is raised for the veins and then cut in for the background of the leaf-very different.  It is also curled at the edge and rounded at the wider part of the leaf.  A big glob of glue on the back should adhere it nicely though.  It measures apprx 3/4" long and approx. almost 1/2" at its widest.  Because of the height of the leaf the scan washed out the color and makes it look silvery in one spot but it is all brass- gold tone.  Pkg of 4 charms.
$0.59

Brass Flower Embellishment Maker with Center Hole~This simple little flower can be combined with brads, rhinestones, beads, etc. to make a unique embellishment for your project.  It measures approx. a little more than 1/2" wide.  It has a center hole and many brads will fit through the hole.  You can adhere to your project with the brad or just glue the top in place, as with the rhinestones, beads, etc.  Pkg 10 flowers
$1.49

floralcharmuse.jpg

Shown above is a group of the flower embellishment makers.  All but one has a brad for a center embellishment, one has a light blue rhinestone.

lovelyflwruse.jpg

Lovely Flower Brass Charm~This charm measures approx. almost 7/8" high  and approx. 3/8" at its widest across the flower.  It has great detail on the flower with little petal lines coming out from the center, a raised center, stem and detail lines on the leaves.  Pkg. 4 charms
$1.29

fncyflwruse.jpg

Fancy Open Flower Brass Charm~ I think this is the cutest charm with a whole lot of potential.  If you like the color glazes, I think that would be cute to put in the open petal areas or color in the open petal areas with markers, chalks, watercolors, etc.  The center underneath is open so you could put a little glob of glue down and position the flower over it and have it raised from the paper.  I have a double leaf charm that will work with it also. The charm measures approx. 1" in diameter and if you hold it over a quarter it is just a tad larger.
Check out the Flirty Purse Sample at the bottom of the page.  It uses the open flower charm as the embellishment, backed on black card stock and Stickle Glitter Glue in the petals.
Pkg. 5 Flowers.
$1.39

floweruse.jpg

Pretty Aluminum Flower Charms~ This flower is very light because it is made from aluminum.  Each petal stands alone, it is not attached to the other petal so you could easily put 2 or 3 of these flowers on top of each other and easily bend the petals up for added dimension.  There is a hole in the center so that you can attach with a brad, if desired.  You could also put a crystal in the center, fill the center with Stickles glitter glue, small no hole beads, or anything else your imagination can stick in there.  Pkg of 10.
$1.19

chipuse.jpg

Chipboard 1" square & Charm~I got the idea for this one evening while watching QVC jewelry- they showed a piece I liked and thought I could replicate it somewhat with the chipboard and a charm.  I painted the chipboard black.  I wanted a little bit of design in the background so I embossed a stamp with gears on it in black embossing powder, added the brass charm and 3 small Swarovski flat back crystals in the center and a scew post at the top.  If I was going to wear this as a necklace, I would further shore up the screw post with some glue or glaze.
You can do a lot with the chipboard pieces to create unique one-of-a-kind embellishments for your cards, books, scrapbooks, etc.
So "charming"!

lilflwruse.jpg

Li'l Flower Brass Charm~ This was a happy mistake -I forgot to add a prefix when I ordered an item and got this lovely little flower instead and I think it is too cute!  It measures approx. 3/8" in diameter and very detailed.  It is not a flat charm.  I can see a row of them on a card with a drawn stem and brass charm leaves.   Pkg of 7

seeduse.jpg

Brass Flower Seed Packet~Another sign of the long awaited spring, seed packets.  This one has "seeds" spelled out right on it and some little flowers growing up from the bottom of the charm.  This one would be fun to paint with your alcohol inks, sharpie markers, etc.  Use on your cards, altered projects, scrapbooks, etc.  If you like to dry flowers and make arragements under glass, this would be a neat addition.  Use some of the other flower charms from Articus Studio and create a little garden on some beautiful paper and complete it by putting it in a shadow box frame- maybe with some tiny garden tools and have a unique home decor item or gift for your friend.  This charm measures approx. 3/4" high including ring and approx. 1/2" wide.  Pkg 4.
$0.59

hornuse.jpg

Brass Horn O' Plenty Charm~ This charm comes with a ring and measures approx. 13/16" wide and approx. 5/8" high including the ring.  Celebrate your blessings all year round with this charm.   It is highly detailed.  Pkg. 6.
$0.85

pumpchrmuse.jpg

The Great Pumpkin~ This pumpkin is perfect for all your fall cards.  It is approx. the size of a quarter measuring approx. 1" W & 1" H.  It does not have a hole so you will have to adhere with one of Articus's fine adhesives.  The eyes, nose and mouth are all recessed in.  If you like gore, you could always take a red marker and color in his mouth like he just took a big bite of.............ick!  That would be a scary pumpkin.  Pkg. 7.
$1.39

ering1use.jpg

This is the leaf charm shown below.  It comes pre-drilled with a hole at the top that makes it an excellent choice to make earrings, pendants, etc.  I added the teeny tiny brass heart charm at the top to add movement.  These are desinted to be earrings but would look so cute as a pendant or charms for a bracelet.

lerafuse.jpg

Detailed Brass Leaf Charm~The veins on this leaf are highlighted in raised detail along with the fact that the leaf itself is not flat but raised in the center like you were going to fold it in half.  It measures approx. 1" long and a little more than 1/2" wide.  It has a hole drilled at the top center to adhere to your project with ribbon, string or other fine cording.  Since this leaf is not flat, I don't think a brad would work.  You could also adhere with your favorite fine adhesive.  Pkg. 8.
$0.99

This is the same leaf charm shown above but I have added some coloring to it with alcohol inks.  You can change the color any time by using the alcohol ink blending solution to remove the current color and then choosing different alcohol ink colors to get a special color or seasonal look.  How versatile is that?!

pmpkinuse.jpg

Brass Pumpkin Charm~ This one is already carved for you.  It measures approx. 9/16" high from top of ring to bottom and approx. 1/2" wide.  The carved face is recessed in for added depth.  This one is a little bulky setting up almost 1/8" high.
Pkg. 12.
