Brass charms can add a whole lot of pizazz to a project without a whole lot of cost. This thrift store
tin went from ugly to really cool in about an hour. I gessoed the tin with white on the bottom and black on the lid.
I stamped "The Journey" (Stamper's Anonymous stamp)
on the tin and embossed it along with the words "bitsz"- with the thought in mind of putting little bits
& pieces in it. I also added some rhinestone bling and glued the jester charm on with Claudine Hellmuth Matte Medium.
It is a wonderful glue for those hard to glue items. I also adhered the brass charm leg corners (found on the Classy
Corners Page) with the matte medium.

Ornate Crown & Swirls~This is just a pretty crown- so unique looking. It also reminds me of
a jester hat or Mardi Gras. It's a bold crown measuring approx. 1 3/8" at its widest and approx. 1 1/8" high.
Pkg of 4 crowns.
$1.79
Small Brass Crown~ This is so cute! It is a perfect compliment for some of the pictures that come
on the Tim Holtz Distressables Cut Apart Strips. It measures approx. 5/8" wide and approx. 1/2" from top of ring to
bottom of crown. It will easily fit on dominos, even the small ones. It would also look cute on a muslin doll.
Adorn someone in a favorite family photo in your scrapbooks. The picture shows the crown with the ring but also
available without the ring- please use appropriate button. Pkg. 4
$1.39
Small Brass Crown WITH Ring
Small Brass Charm NO Ring
Stately Crown Charm~ This is a larger crown measuring approx. 7/8" wide and approx. 7/8" H. It
does not have a ring so will need to be adhered to your project. Use in conjunction with our fleur de lis charm since
this crown has 2 fleur de lis on it. Pkg. 3. (See the cigar box samble below with the map paper and Mona tag.)

Small Regal Brass Crown~ These crowns come in 2 different finishes, one is brass and the other is imitation
rhodium (silver). The crown measures approx. 1/2" high including the ring and approx. 7/16" at its widest. Use
on your klunky "everything but the kitchen sink" necklaces or bracelets, photos, stamped images, scrapbooks, altered
projects, mixed media, etc. Each finish comes in a pkg. of 5 crowns.
Brass Charm, Pkg. 5 $1.29
Imitation Rhodium Finish Charm (Silver), Pkg. 5 $1.49

Huge Regal Brass Crown~This is a large piece. The picture does not do it justice, it is bright
brass in color. The crown measures approx. 1 3/8" wide and approx. 1" high. I used one similar to this in an altered
project, layering it on a square chipboard piece along with other items that surrounded a mirror. It has a cross at
the top of the crown, along with fancy beading and 3 fleur de lis at the base of the crown. The fleur de lis charm would
be a wonderful compliment to this regal finding. Pkg of 2 crowns.

This is an old sample I had made using the larger glass I carry on the microscope slide glass page.
I added the ornate crown to the glass -over the glas head-and just gives it a whole different look. That is always a
fun thing to do- take something that you liked or maybe something you didn't like- you know it just needed something else....a
brass charm can always add so much to a project and give it that finished look.
This was a black cigar box- some special edition one, I purchased form the thrift store. I covered
the top and front with Graphics 45 paper, used a Gr. 45 paper tag on the top (Mona) and gave her a lovely Articus Studio crown
along with the large and beautiful fleur de lis charm and on the right corner of the box, I used a small, rectangle
"create" charm and cut the ring off using the Tim Holtz scissors (they go from paper to metal-don't have to look around for
any other kind of scissor and they are great for cutting unmounted rubber).
I added the Tim Holtz hitch fasteners on the front as drawer pulls. There are only 2 drawers- the
top is not a drawer, but looked better with 3 fasteners than 2. The fasteners are just glueed on using Claudine Hellmuth
matte medium gel. The drawer front was actually too thick to use the screw that comes with the hitch fastener.
